Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the Diablo I supports remote immobilisation of the vehicles engine.
For example, if suspicious activity is detected on the platform, such as out of hours use or deviation from a geo-fenced route, the fleet manager or a Sicuro Support team member can send an over the air command to the device which will then immobilise the engine the next time it is turned off. This means that the engine will not just shut off mid-journey, creating a potential risk for other road users and will securely shut down, allowing the user to then send a recovery team or notify the authorities to the tracked location of the vehicle shown on the platform.

The SicuroTrackV2 Route module is a feature of the platform designed to streamline the journey management and route scheduling process of the fleet. The feature allows users to create and configure routes based up addresses or geo-fences and assists in creating of delivery schedules, passenger drop-offs etc. The module can also generate notifications from a range of triggers to enable a fleet manager greater visibility on the journey status of the fleet. Notifications can also show arrival and departure from a checkpoint, skipped checkpoints, delays, outrunning and a range of other fleet data.
Notifications can be triggered by changes in the status reported by the unit such as arrival, departures, outrunning and delay on scheduled travel time of vehicles from designated checkpoints. The benchmarks that trigger the notifications are customisable and can be configured and set by the users. The notifications are predefined to be displayed either on the platform, email and SMS.
