The benchmarks that trigger the notifications are customisable and can be configured and set by the users. The notifications are predefined to be displayed either on the platform, email and SMS.

    Yes, Map Popup, reports and email or SMS notification are all supported. For instance you could set up speed limitations on areas; impose curfews on drivers. Sicuro Track V2 has advanced and customisable reporting within the platform.

    Yes, the platform supports various formats. The reports can also be scheduled to arrive daily, weekly, monthly, and others. Data can be retrieved up to 90 days period by default. Fuel consumption report can be generated, from here the manager can compare actual and target consumption. The fuel information is approximated based on the vehicles’ fuel benchmark.
  • Speed reporting with speed limitation on areas with automatic alarm to the system for over speeding
    Yes, speed alerts can be applied to certain geofences/areas. These emanate from the platform as SMS/Email and are available on the Reports as well

    Yes, historical information can be stored on the platform and readily available on reports. This is defaulted to 90 days

  • For better distance accuracy (if measured through Satellite calculation) the system should operate on few seconds GPRS signal location reporting routine as a standard reporting interval, for traveling speeds up to 50 KM/h. The possibility to automatically shift from this standard reporting routine into a more frequent one as the speed increases should also be available. In case of reporting distance through CANBUS support, the signal sending intervals should not be more than 30 seconds. "
    The devices could be configured to report in different intervals. This can be discussed according to your requirements.

    Yes, we have a driver performance report which rates drivers according to Speeding, Harsh acceleration/braking. Additional parameters can be configured on the device and the platform also has wide array of reporting options

    Yes. Geofences can be manually created on the platform or imported from existing files (KML/KMZ)

    Route reports can also be generated in SicuroTrackV2 platform which can be beneficial for analysis on the vehicle and driver performance based on the route setup and schedule. The reports that can generated are based on unit/unit group rounds and visits, and route events.
  • Real time monitoring of all vehicles. Track and monitor real-time vehicle status, location, heading, speed, driver and coordinates. Identifying the location of vehicles travelling out of country should also be available by means of GSM Roaming (sending SMS when required)"
    Yes, the platform provides near real-time monitoring of your assets as long as you have data connection. From the platform, you can also send SMS to your personnel.
  • Automatic reporting to the fleet management system departure from depot using fencing and reports arrival to the depot
    The SicuroTrackV2 Route module is a feature of the platform designed to streamline the journey management and route scheduling process of the fleet. The feature allows users to create and configure routes based up addresses or geo-fences and assists in creating of delivery schedules, passenger drop-offs etc. The module can also generate notifications from a range of triggers to enable a fleet manager greater visibility on the journey status of the fleet. Notifications can also show arrival and departure from a checkpoint, skipped checkpoints, delays, outrunning and a range of other fleet data.
  • Monitor Vehicle location 24/7
    Yes. Position reports are received on the platform 24/7 as long as the device sends them.

    Yes. Real time data from devices are available to view on the platform.

    The App requires internet to function properly however, it can store up to 1000 messages when internet is lost and resends all these messages to the platform once restored

    The platform can work on low network coverage, users are given the option to limit number of devices they monitor, switch to low-bandwidth mapping options, and others.
  • A “geo-fence” feature capable to initiate immediate alerts to notify when vehicles enter or exit the geographic location of their duty station. The possibility to make the geo-fence time banned, e.g. to apply only for out of working hours. The possibility to geo-fence the parking lots with an alarm recipient set to receive a text message or email if any of the vehicles move outside of the geo-fence at night (or between predetermined time limits). The possibility to check if a vehicle entered a site on a particular date and time and show how long the vehicle had been there for."

  • What function does the emergency number serve?
    The emergency number is the number that the Sicuro Tracker v2 app will call when the panic button is activated. Sicuro’s Support number is the default. The emergency number is not user configurable, it can be changed over the air (OTA) by Sicuro Support.Managers may request the emergency number to be changedtoany emergency point of contact.
  • Do I have to log-in every time I open the app? Is there a timeout period where I have to re-log in the app?
    Users only have to login once. There is no timeout. Login is only required after log off (on the Settings screen) or if the user reinstalls the app.
  • What happens if data connectivity is lost?
    When data connection is lost, messages are buffered and they will be sent once data connectivity is restored. Up to 1,000 messages may be buffered.
  • What is Keep Alive?
    “Keep Alive” is a feature in Sicuro Tracker especially developed to make the device send a heartbeat (a periodic locationreport)at a default interval of 30 minutes.
